Product: GhostCatch (the "App")
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using GhostCatch, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the App and delete it from your device.
2. Service Description
GhostCatch is a management tool for recurring subscriptions. Key features include:
- Manual Entry & OCR: Tracking via manual input or on-device image scanning.
- Analytics: Local visualization of spending habits.
- Notifications: Local reminders for upcoming renewals.
3. Account & Data Responsibility
No Central Accounts: GhostCatch does not require an account. All data exists solely on your device.
Security: You are exclusively responsible for the physical security of your device and the data contained within the App. We cannot recover lost data if the App is deleted or the device is lost.
4. Premium Subscriptions
GhostCatch offers a Premium tier via In-App Purchase (IAP).
A. Billing & Renewal
- Processors: All transactions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Trials: One free trial per platform account. You will be billed immediately following the trial expiration unless cancelled.
B. Cancellations & Refunds
- Management: You must manage your subscription through your device’s system settings (Apple ID/Google Account).
- Refunds: GhostCatch cannot process refunds. All refund requests must be directed to the respective App Store.
5. Usage Guidelines & OCR Accuracy
- Lawful Use: You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with local laws.
- OCR Disclaimer: Our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a "best-effort" tool. It may misread text. Always verify the accuracy of scanned data. GhostCatch is not liable for financial losses resulting from inaccurate data extraction.
- Prohibitions: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
6. Intellectual Property
- Our Rights: The GhostCatch name, logo, code, and design are the exclusive property of GhostCatch.
- Your Rights: You retain 100% ownership of the data you enter. We claim no rights over your subscription information.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
"AS IS" WARRANTY
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT NOTIFICATIONS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED ON TIME.
Limitation of Liability
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Financial losses (e.g., missed cancellations or unwanted renewals).
- Loss of data due to hardware failure or app deletion.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of our operating jurisdiction.
- Arbitration: You agree to resolve disputes via binding arbitration rather than in court.
- Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

- On-Device Processing: Features like OCR happen locally; images are never uploaded.
